You play poker like a girl.

Well woke up this morning feeling good actually even after the horrid run last night. Took a walk and the tables were happening so i hopped in the mix. 2.5 hours and just under negative 2 BIs later I feel like I suck at poker. I feel like a little bitch. I dont know what why? WTF? Then again the biggest pot I won was 50BB and one set I butchered and got no value with while the other got snapped by a GSSD on the turn. I do love poker. Seriously I do. The hardest thing about this game is I want results now. I dont even know anymore really. Seriously I can lose it at times like these. I truly hate downswings or even mentioning them. They are bullshit imo. All that is happening is I am botting. I havent been putting my opponents on a range nothing!(If you are brave enough to read this shit I apologize, this is really just me talking to myself.) In truth I have been running sick good to start the month, shit the year, variance has a sick way of catching up with us I guess. My hourly earn is just under 70 bucks an hour on the year which isnt to shabby. We cant all be Dodgyken. PUKE! I just looked through my play and in reality I played suoper solid. Whatever I am going to go to the beach and chill out. Will grind more later. I wil be 3 tabling by the way. I steared away from that and I need to get back to it.

I am forgetting about the poker a little and focusiong too much on the number of hands. I think today was my worst day ever. Yeah I ran meh but seriously I spewed alot of chips. WHY? AHHHHHHHHH. I am so mad at myself. Its insane as I dont even feel that tilted. 2/4 is definately stupid crazy aggro. Also motherfuckers love to call 3bets. Its making me crazy. I need to stop. AHHHHHHHHH. I missed to much value today and just spewed off chips too much. Also the game selection sucked for it being Friday night, I was super bummed about that. Lastly I looked, couldnt help it I guess.

with my play just now. I sat down and right away got stacked in a stupid spot and I think it semi tilted me. That just stupid too. It had me playing loose and wild and fast which i havent done at all this month. I was definately not playing my A-game. i did acknowledge it and buckle down a bit and proceeded to get AA vs TT cracked AI pre. Also made a debatable pklay with a combo draw 150BB deep and missed. Well we cant run like god all the time. My game is improving and I need to continue to develop my post flop play/hand reading. FTP is fun but at times it can be madening. I hate myself really because today I preached to my student about playing position and how bad the FTP TAGs are because they 3 bet light OOP too much. You guessed I was one of them tonight. AHHHHHHHHHHH. Oh well I am off to enjoy a nice dinner with my family and regroup. Hands galore later.

So sick how many bad river calls I made tonight. I mean it was sick. Here is the kicker though went to SD was only 21% with the old won at SD at 43% and you guessed I managed to come out ahead. I didnt play too many big pots tonight. AP is so passive compared to FT it is weird. I swear I get 3bet so much less. Anyways I was stoked to actually stack this donk who was hitting everything against me. I managed to resuck once against him and then he just payed me off for the rest of his stack later. Also there are certains regs on AP who just try to hard. They always want to outplay me and I just pwn them. Its quite fun. The best was i got to play with leggo poker pro carrotsnake himself. And I got to see him run a huge bluff so he says 200BB deep. It was sick. Grinded 3 hours tonight with a quick 5 minute break in the middle. My seats were too good to leave. 848 hands with a 1BI earn, woooooooot. This is called knowihng your opponent. I only wish I crai on the river. Maybe this was fancy play syndrome? Should I bet the turn and hope for 3 street of value? I basically felt he was on a float and opted to check looking to CRAI with my TPTK+ mondo draw. he didt bite so I decided to give him a shot at bluffing the river. CRAI FTW?

I might be pushing it.

Today I started off my session by calling a 3bet w/T9o, boooooo. I flopped a oesd on a JJ8 board and got CRAI by AJ. I lost. This was just the start. I am over aggro a little lately and need to tone it back. This goes back to that post I made refrencing Jasons blog. Play solid ABC poker with just enough mixed in aggro and you will own motherfuckers. I am definately working hard on improving my post flop play and with the high volume of hands I feel it starting to improve. Weirdest shit so far has been these spots where I flat preflop and the original raiser c/c the flop. What the fuck? I never know what to think. Today i bet my gutter on the flop and he called. I figured he couldnt stand heat so I DB the turn and he blew me off my GS when the turn paired the 2 on board. I also made a spewy call w/AK on an Axxmx board when I checked the flop and got b3b AI on the turn by a TAG. I think I can fold very easily as he almost never 3bet shoves anything worse then 2p.

Anyways I logged a $13 win woooooot! Played 605 hands.

WHY?

Why do I make spewy plays? I had another good session except for some spewy plays imo. Once I made a call on the river where I knew knew knew I was no bueno. 2nd I misclick min raised A6s then called a 3bet and proceeded to make a stupid turn call after floating the flop. The cards did go my way after a slow grind for like 500 hands. I actually acknowledged my poor play and told myself I was going to step it up. I have been pushing my chips in a little more which is nice as it puts fear in my opponents hearts. LOL, I got kids in the rain. Anyways played for 2 hours on FTP for a 1.5BI win at 1/2 over 847 hands.

Was feeling tired after my 2/4 session but wanted to get some more hands in so I mined some tables on FTP. While waiting I read a uplifting book, took a walk and made some tea. the tables were juicy as always and I played some solid poker. I made one debatable stack off where I essentially could put villain on 2 specific hands that beat me and he had one of them. Maybe I should fold the flop but its debatable I guess due to history. Villain was 23/16/3 and i had just crai in a 3bet pot where he folded. i sensed frustration and though he very well could be on a steal. maybe i over did it here.

Overall the results for the session were good as I won a flip with my AK vs QQ AI pre and had a few donks decide to stack off as well.
