I did have a beer today but unlike other times when I would have one beer and then another I simply enjoyed one and that was it. Hopefully that trend will continue and I can enjoy me some good beer now and again. Simple fact remains that I have to focus on poker and put partying and all that other BS on hold. I am determined to be comfortably crushing 200NL by years end with 400NL in the cross hairs for 2010.
Here is a fun hand I played yesterday. Basically I think my river play is debatable as far as the check part but once I did everything that had happened leading up to his shove screamed draw therefore I picked him off. TBH it felt good.

Oh and one last quick secret. Easiest way to beat this game is to simply never sit on the direct right of a good player. If they use position well or 3bet with decent frequencies just find a better spot. There are plenty of tables to choose from.

Yeah I even buy different beer now. Rather than buying a cheap 30 pack that I'll slam away in a night or 2, I buy 6 packs of micro brews I've never had and enjoy 1 every now and then.
