Swingy day.

Started my 1st session playing LAG and ran into some tough spots. 2nd session I thightened up a bit and things improved. I am looking to find a happy medium or simly start LAG in order to create an image and then changes gears and hopefully stack some donks before they can catch on.

I like to start with my big losers 1st, but before I do that I just wanted to mention the name change. I seem to avoid losing monster pots pretty well so in order to not deter myself from going over my bad hands I have lowered the bar.

Button ($202.50)Hero ($292.98)BB ($90.45)UTG ($73.20)MP ($62.85)CO ($70.77)
Preflop: Hero is SB with As, 2s. 1 fold, MP calls $1, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

I dont think raising here is very useful and because I am such a nit I might even pitch this hand. Playing so deep I decide to complete.

Flop: ($3) Kd, Ah, 2d (3 players)Hero bets $3, BB folds, MP raises to $6, Hero raises to $26.5, MP calls $18.

I have to be best on this flop and when villian raises me and I decide to charge any draw or hope that he shoves any big A.

Turn: ($53.50) 6c (2 players)Hero bets $121, MP calls $37.85 (All-In).

I could try and extract value from missed draws here but I think the pot is big enough that really my only choice is to get it in now.

River: ($212.35) Qd (2 players, 1 all-in)
Final Pot: $212.35

This was perfect poker I believe. Fuck the results, I am balling off this play.

Results below: Hero has As 2s (two pair, aces and twos). MP has 9d Jd (flush, king high).

Outcome: MP wins $129.20. Hero wins $83.15.

Button ($203.72)SB ($38)BB ($110.95)UTG ($260.98)Hero ($247.95)
Preflop: Hero is MP with Qc, Tc. 1 fold, Hero raises to $4, Button calls $4, SB calls $3.50, BB calls $3.

I hadnt been getting to much respect but I like this hand and I dont mind raising it up here.

Flop: ($16) Ts, 6d, 4c (4 players)SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $12, Button calls $12, SB folds, BB folds.

Great flop and I am most likely best, standard c-bet of 3/4 pot should do the trick.

Turn: ($40) 2h (2 players)Hero bets $20, Button calls $20.

Here is where I went south. I was playing kinda scared here and decided half pot would be a good bet for pot control incase my hand was in trouble. Looking back I think I have to stick with my read on the flop and 3/4 pot it to protect my hand.
River: ($80) 3h (2 players)Hero bets $24, Button raises to $167.72 (All-In), Hero folds.

This is not the best river. I have lost faith in my hand and decide a blocking bet will be best and I am dumping to almost any raise evern though I am hard pressed to put villian on a range. This guy was a station playing 52/7/1. He could easily show up withj 65 here or the trash he had.

Final Pot: $271.72
Results below: Button has 4s 5d (straight, six high). Outcome: Button wins $271.72.

Button ($170.20)SB ($199)Hero ($205.40)UTG ($66)MP ($133.16)CO ($216.90)
Preflop: Hero is BB with Ts, Kd. 3 folds, Button raises to $3, 1 fold, Hero raises to $12, Button calls $9.

Villian in question here was 32/15/3 with an attempt to steal at like 30. I decide to take a stand. Honestly I think KT is a bad hand to do this with. The best hands IMHO to 3bet light with are T9s and less. You can flop monsters and they are easier to get away from if you dont.

Flop: ($24.50) 4c, Jh, Qs (2 players)Hero bets $15, Button calls $15.

Not a horrible flop for my hand. You migth argue a C/R against this villian but I opt to cbet.

Turn: ($54.50) 2s (2 players)Hero bets $32, Button calls $32.

I felt he could be floating me here with alot of hands he calls my 3bet with and decide to double barrel knowing I have outs if he calls. Looking back I dont know what I do if he decides to raise me here. I imagine I would be getting great odds and might be forced to call.

River: ($118.50) Js (2 players)Hero checks, Button calls $111.20 (All-In), Hero folds.

The river blanks and now I have two options, shove or C/F. In this spot the only +EV play is the line I took.

Final Pot: $229.70
Results below: Button doesn't show. Outcome: Button wins $229.70.

Button ($49.95)
SB ($214)
Hero ($200)
UTG ($210)
MP ($228.10)
CO ($198.50)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Ks, Ac.
3 folds, Button raises to $4, 1 fold, Hero raises to $15, Button raises to $49.95 (All-In), Hero calls $34.95.

Villian had check shoved a previous Cbet and I really had no solid read. I decided to go with my hand figuring at worst I am against QQ. Pretty standard?
Flop: ($100.40) 9d, 9s, 4c (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: ($100.40) Ts (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($100.40) 8h (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $100.40

Results below:
Button has Jh Jd (two pair, jacks and nines).
Hero has Ks Ac (one pair, nines).
Outcome: Button wins $100.40.

One big winner!

Button ($87.75)SB ($225.95)BB ($42.30)UTG ($37)Hero ($229.95)CO ($132)
Preflop: Hero is MP with 8d, 8h. 1 fold, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, SB calls $3.50, BB calls $3.

Standard raise. I had raised the two previous hands and taken it down with no SD so I was hoping to hit a set with the idea of getting good action if I did.

Flop: ($12) 3d, 8c, 4d (3 players)SB checks, BB bets $1, Hero raises to $8, SB calls $8, BB calls $7.

I disregard the donk lead here and make a standard cbet looking for action and they both tag along

Turn: ($36) Qc (3 players)SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $30, SB raises to $90, BB folds, Hero raises to $217.95 (All-In), SB calls $123.95 (All-In).

This is a tricky spot as I want to suck them in yet a 2nd FD is now possible and I decide to make a large bet to protect my hand. Also this bet looks like a steal to some as I bet almost pot. When I get C/R 3x all I can do now is get it in. I put villian on either an under set or a combo draw. Most likely AQ that backdoored a draw.

River: ($467.90) 2h (2 players, 2 all-in)
Final Pot: $467.90
Results below: SB has 3c 4c (two pair, fours and threes). Hero has 8d 8h (three of a kind, eights). Outcome: Hero wins $467.90.

I was thinking about this hand and I dont think I would have been able to get away from villains hand if I was in his shoes. Would you?
