Tilt control

Something which I found in the beginning of the year and lost over the month of March. Today I believe I have regained it. Well atleast I was able to walk away. In MYNAMEISGREG's Cage he says how he never plays 1st thing when he wakes up. I think this is huge. I typically dont but I believe the times I have havent been great results wise. Just a brief ten minute walk to clear my mind and mentally prepare for battle is enough. Anyways here was how I started my day.

Round 1: In reality I think my play has alot of merit but against this fish there was no reason to try and run a monster bluff. The fact of the matter is I thought his raise could be air so I float and now he donks the turn weak when the A peels. Now his hand is either a Q or a FD imo. The river makes a Q less likely and I have zero SD value which means I have one choice. Shove FTW or check FTL.

Immediately I was pissed at myself when the truth is my actions were justified. Still emotion had crept in and I shut it down. Thats right I turned the fucking computer off and went to the park and shot hoops while listening to some nice peaceful Limp Bizkit. I dropped a BI in 15 hands, LOL. At least it didnt turn into 7.

Round 2:Villain here is your typical TAG fish and this very well may have just been a cooler but I like how I played it. 150BB deep I cant flat the 3 bet as I want to build the pot now before scare cards peel or he bricks a flop and shuts down. I decide a small 4 bet was best as he might percieve some FE and shove worse. To be honest I think the next movement in 6 max games is going to be just that, the 5 bet bluff shove. It can be very profitable if you can figure out your opponents 4 betting frequencies imo. Once the flop peels I am going broke its just a matter of getting him to shove worse. I lean towards a small bet to feign weakness. Ship it KID.

Same villain decides to contribute more to me. This is the opitamey of TAG on TAG crime. If you can get these TAGs to start making huge mistakes against you there is so much value. My mistake has been being the TAG making the mistakes. 3bet light IP and watch them play back when you 3bet them strong.

Well I have fallen behind on the challenge due to some personal things happening but I plan on grinding an insane amount of hands over spring break. Hopefully I will make it.
